1. Safety First: Always wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, hearing protection, sturdy footwear, and long pants. Clear the mowing area of any debris (rocks, sticks, toys) before starting.
2. Fuel & Oil: Ensure the mower has sufficient gasoline (petrol) in the fuel tank and that the engine oil level is correct. Refer to the manual for specific fuel and oil types.
3. Adjust Cutting Height: Use the single-lever adjustment to set the desired cutting height (28-80mm).
4. Select Function:
   • For Bagging: Ensure the 60L catcher is securely attached.
   • For Side Discharge: Remove the catcher and lift the side deflector to attach the side discharge chute (if applicable).
   • For Mulching: Insert the mulching plug into the rear discharge opening (if applicable) and remove the catcher.
   • For Rear Discharge: Remove the catcher if using this function directly.
5. Starting the Engine:
   • Ensure the spark plug lead is firmly attached.
   • Push the primer bulb (if present) a few times.
   • Move the throttle lever to “Start” or “Choke.”
   • Stand behind the mower, firmly grasp the bail handle against the main handle, and pull the recoil start cord with a quick, steady motion.
   • Once started, adjust the throttle to “Run.”
