Insize Measuring Instruments
Measurement mistakes cost very little to prevent and a lot to fix once a part has been machined. That is why workshops and quality-control teams lean on Insize, and why buyers look up Insize measuring instruments price in Pakistan before choosing a caliper, micrometer or dial indicator. This page lists the Insize instruments available through Imsons, an authorised Insize dealer, and explains how to match an instrument to your work.
Why Choose Insize Measuring Instruments?
Insize makes instruments for industrial work, workshops and quality-control applications, and the range is broad enough to equip a whole inspection bench from one brand. On this page alone you can find:
- Digital, dial and vernier calipers
- Outside, inside and depth micrometers
- Digital and dial indicators with magnetic stands
- Feeler, pitch, radius and welding gauges
- Digital height and depth measuring instruments
- Levels and protractors
A machinist, a fabricator, a maintenance team and a student in a technical course all need different things from this list. The point is that you can find them in one place. Imsons is an authorised Insize dealer.
Popular Insize Measuring Instruments Available in Pakistan

| Digital Vernier Calipers, Model 1108 | Rs. 5,810 to Rs. 15,750 |
| Vernier Caliper Series 1205 (1205-150S, 1205-200S, 1205-300S) | Rs. 5,375 to Rs. 13,625 |
| Outside Micrometer 3203 | Rs. 4,815 to Rs. 9,625 |
| Digital Outside Micrometer 3109-25A | Rs. 13,500 |
| Dial Indicator 2308-10A | Rs. 5,430 |
| Dial Indicator Magnetic Stand 6200-60 | Rs. 4,500 |
| Magnetic Stand 6200-60 with Dial Indicator 2308-10A | Rs. 10,000 |
The wide price ranges on the calipers and the 3203 micrometer come from the different sizes and versions sold under one product page. Pick the size first, then look at the price.
How to Choose the Right Vernier Caliper or Micrometer
Start with the size of what you measure. Everything else follows from that.
Check the range. A caliper has to open wider than your largest part. The model codes in the 1205 series point to 150, 200 and 300 mm versions, so choose the one that covers your biggest workpiece with a little room to spare. Outside micrometers normally come in 25 mm steps (0 to 25 mm, 25 to 50 mm and so on), which means you need the step that matches your part. The 3109-25A, for instance, is a 25 mm class instrument.
Decide how fine the reading must be. A caliper is quick and handles outside, inside, depth and step measurements in one tool. A micrometer is slower to use but is the usual choice when the tolerance is tight and you need a more precise outside measurement. Many people end up owning both: the caliper for everyday checks, the micrometer to confirm the critical dimensions.
Think about the job. A dial indicator on a magnetic stand is what you reach for when you check runout, flatness or alignment on a machine. A caliper will not do that work, so match the tool to the task and not only to the budget.
Look after it. Whatever you buy, clean the measuring faces before use and check zero before you trust a reading. A good instrument still gives bad numbers if it is dirty or has been dropped.
Digital vs. Analog Measuring Instruments
Both types measure accurately when used properly. The difference is mostly about how you read and how you work.
| Feature | Digital | Analog (dial or vernier) |
| Reading | Shown on a display | Read from a dial or scale |
| Speed | Quick, with little room for misreading | Slower, needs a steady eye |
| Power | Needs a battery | No battery needed |
| Best for | Frequent use, fast inspection | Basic work, simple setups |
Digital instruments are easier on the eyes when you take many readings in a day. Many can switch between millimetres and inches, though you should check this on the specific model. Analog instruments have no battery to replace and no display to fail, and some people simply prefer reading a scale. If you are unsure, think about who will use the tool. A new user usually reads a digital display with fewer mistakes.
Insize Instruments Price in Pakistan: What Affects the Cost?
On this page, prices begin at roughly Rs. 4,500 for a magnetic stand and climb to about Rs. 15,750 for the larger digital calipers. Four things mostly decide where an instrument falls.
- Type of instrument. A micrometer, a dial indicator and a caliper are built differently, so they are priced differently.
- Measuring range. Longer calipers and larger micrometer sizes cost more than the smaller ones.
- Digital or analog. A digital version generally costs more than a basic analog one. The digital micrometer 3109-25A at Rs. 13,500 sits well above the 3203 micrometer range, for example.
FAQs
What is the price of Insize measuring instruments in Pakistan?
It depends on the instrument. On this page, prices run from about Rs. 4,500 for a magnetic stand to around Rs. 15,750 for larger digital calipers, with micrometers and dial indicators in between. Check the product page for the current price.
Are Insize instruments sold here genuine?
Imsons is an authorised Insize dealer. When your order arrives, check the packaging and the model number against what you ordered, and contact us if anything does not match.
Which is better, a vernier caliper or a micrometer?
They do different jobs. A caliper is faster and handles outside, inside, depth and step measurements. A micrometer is the better choice for tighter tolerances on outside dimensions. Many workshops keep both.
Should I buy a digital or an analog instrument?
Digital instruments are easier to read and quicker for repeated checks, but they need a battery. Analog dial and vernier instruments need no power and suit simple, everyday measurements. Choose based on who will use it and how often.
